They shared the same studio throughout their lives; first in Vallauris with the whole gang (Capron, Derval, Kostanda, Picasso of course, Picault, Ramié, etc.), then in Millau, and finally in Pouzilhac where they settled in a studio house to work more and better - to create their world. This book is an opportunity to shed light on a pottery workshop that was active for nearly seventy years, from the early 1950s until 2017, by highlighting its technical, ideological and cultural aspects. In Vallauris, their production was already polymorphous: the resolutely modern and free approach of the duo formed by Gyn and Robert is remarkable and concurrent with their work in other workshops. Gyn made decors at their neighbour Jacques Lignier, while Robert worked as a turner with Odette Gourju Naumowitch and her husband Ljuba (parents of Jacques Innocenti) at the Grand Chêne workshop. Their creations, signed RGA Vallauris, RGA, R et G Auguste, RA, GG, Gyn, reveal not just culinary pieces but also pots with a sculptural appearance and panels with painted decorations that take on a truly artistic dimension, one beyond the mere sense of use. When they left Vallauris, Gyn and Robert made their autonomy a priority. The most important thing was to make themselves available for encounters in their pottery studio - the place where they made and sold their work. The talent of these two potters, who were allies from the start, is to have developed throughout their lives a vocabulary of very identifiable forms present from the beginning of their activity. Their fidelity to this style is verified by the numerous archival images and signatures from all eras presenting minute variations in decoration. The charismatic Robert and Gyn had very different personalities and, conscious of their complementarity, chose an alternative lifestyle that serves as an early echo of today's revival of the earth trades. This publication includes excerpts from interviews, selections from photographic and written archives (letters, drawings, poems, chemical formulas, accounting records), and contemporary in situ photographs taken by the artist-filmmaker Ben Russell of the pieces remaining in what was Robert and Gyn's last pottery workshop.

This monograph is co-published by IRIS éditions and Dent-de-Leone.

Sobrevivir al diseño. These three companies, which held a major position on the world market, were instrumental in the creation, development and manufacture of type components and typefaces for typewriters, and indeed for impact printers in general. This volume, with its detailed portraits of the three companies, explores the history behind these typefaces and the historical context in which they were produced. When all three factories closed in the 1990s, most of their archives were destroyed. Produced in Italy, the book’s material construction draws upon the 500-year-old tradition of bible-making of Legatoria Industriale Artigianale’s premises in Cava de' Tirreni. Their self-published, lo-fi but materially ingenious magazine Archigram, begun in 1961, announced their ideas for such visionary concepts as "Walking City," "Plug-In City" and "Instant City." It also served to connect the international avant-garde of the 1960s. Archigram forged links with the Metabolists in Japan, Frei Otto, Utopie and Haus-Rucker-Co in Europe, and Buckminster Fuller in the US. They were also championed by critics such as Charles Jencks and Reyner Banham, who brought Archigram's famous fourth pop-up issue to the US in 1966.

Today Archigram is one of the rarest major small-press publications of the 1960s, with individual issues selling for a minimum of $600.Archigram's influence has proved enduring, perhaps most famously in its widely acknowledged impact on Richard Rogers' and Renzo Piano's Centre Pompidou. Its members also taught and influenced the likes of Bernard Tschumi and Zaha Hadid, and inspired a later generation of nineties and noughties modernists embracing the potential of technology such as Future Systems, Foreign Office Architects, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Anthony Dunne and Fiona Raby.

This authorized publication features exact facsimiles of all 10 issues (from number 1 in 1961 to the final issue 9½ in 1974). Accompanying the facsimile issues is a fully illustrated reader's guide featuring essays by Peter Cook, David Grahame Shane and Reyner Banham; tributes from the architectural community including Tadao Ando, Kenneth Frampton, Norman Foster, Zamp Kelp, David Rockwell and Patrik Schumacher; an index of key concepts and contents; a scrapbook of previously unseen archival images; a bibliography of the partners' publications; and biographies.

The architect-collaborative group Archigram was established in London by Warren Chalk, Peter Cook, Dennis Crompton, Ron Herron, David Greene and Michael Webb. Working together until 1975, the group operated as an experimental think tank, producing a magazine, projects, models, exhibitions and proposals that represented a shift in how architectural practice is considered, prioritizing processes and responsive structures for living over the notion of architecture as a static, form-based commodity. Influenced by popular culture and responding to the proliferation of technological advances at the time, as well as recognizing the increasing social and political discontent, Archigram's production emphasized mobility and flexibility in ways that continue to have currency today.

Contributors include: Tadao Ando, Shigeru Ban, Aric Chen, Beatriz Colomina, Mike Davies, Odile Decq, Neil Denari, Norman Foster, Kenneth Frampton, Nicholas Grimshaw, Ivan Harbour, Tom Heneghan, Steven Holl, Bjarke Ingels, Toyo Ito, Zamp Kelp, Reed Kroloff, Toshiko Mori, Laurids Ortner and Manfred Ortner, Juhani Pallasmaa, Mónica Ponce de León, David Rockwell, Moshe Safdie, Annabelle Selldorf, Patrik Schumacher, Alan Stanton, Bernard Tschumi.

Terranova teams up with architect and design enthusiast Stefano Colli, the brain behind GoodGoodStefano, to publish a series of limited-run zines under the name GoodGoodsPaper that will showcase an exclusive interview between Colli and an industrial designer to talk about one specific product.

This third issue, coproduced with design editorial firm Santa & Cole, captures the conversation between Colli and Spanish architect, designer, painter and writer Oscar Tusquets Blanca.
