Album is considered Miralda's first artist book, after a string of minor publications. It was published on the occasion of his exhibition at the Sala Pelaires in Palma de Mallorca in 1973. The book is unpaginated, bound with cardboard covers sewn with a cord, and includes 80 black and white photographs along with four separate reprints. The photographs and sketches within Album were made during his mandatory military service and served as a creative refuge, forming the basis for his anti-war sculptures and future projects.
