BOOOM documents the evolution of Antoni Miralda's work between 1962 and 1972, a period in which his art shifted from drawing and photography to action and performance. Through images and analytical texts, the book shows how Miralda reinterpreted military iconography, exploring irony, repetition, and absurdity as tools for social critique. Key pieces such as Bien/Mal (1966) and Soldats à la lessive (1967) are included, reflecting his ability to transform symbols of authority into objects of questioning.

Published by La Fábrica and edited by Ignasi Duarte, the book BOOOM 1962–1972 presents previously unpublished material that connects with the present in a disturbing way. In a context marked by new forms of violence and control, Miralda's work remains profoundly critical and relevant.

“Almost sixty years after Soldats soldés, the absurdity of “good and evil” is more present than ever.” (Juan Garrigues)

This very limited special edition comes with a hard cardboard protective sleeve with an embedded puzzle toy, one of the few remaining original puzzle toys made by Miralda with his own design for his foundational show Soldats Soldés from 1967 at Paris' Galerie Zunini.
