For its third issue, Candy delivered its most talked-about cover yet: actress Chloë Sevigny transformed into photographer Terry Richardson himself — flannel shirt, glasses, sideburns and trademark thumbs-up — shot by Richardson in character as his own subject. Inside, the magazine widens its scope with features on Cindy Sherman, 1960s Transvestia magazine, singer Mina, Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, Tokyo's Shinjuku district and Jenny Shimizu, alongside photography from Bruce Weber, Walter Pfeiffer, Juergen Teller, Jack Pierson, Tim Walker, Mariano Vivanco and Ellen von Unwerth.
