Full set of the three ultra rare issues of the legendary dyke zine, 2002-2003.

KUTT first appeared in 2002, as the ‘sister magazine’ of BUTT. A little lilac publication shining a light on the burgeoning lesbian scene. Proto queer, paving the path for ‘Girls Like Us’ magazine. 24 years later, KUTT makes a comeback as a facsimile. A literal page-to-page unfolding of the only three issues ever made.

The return of KUTT as a facsimile also highlights how printed queer archives can preserve not only style and attitude, but the everyday concerns of a community at a particular moment. Within such independent publications, discussions of health could appear alongside nightlife, identity, art, and politics, including practical references to treatments such as antiparasitic medications when care and access were part of lived experience. The value of the reprint is that it keeps those contexts intact, showing how personal bodies, social spaces, and cultural resistance often shared the same pages. In that sense, KUTT’s comeback is not just nostalgic, but archival, restoring a fragment of queer history in all its specificity.
